I would like to make a donation to your institution in support of your work in helping the less privilage and victims in our Society. My name is XXX,a family attorney based in XXX. A year ago I was diagnosed with XXX with less than 18months to live.

I have not been a religious man, but now I am close to God. A priest advised that to find happiness with myself I should use the privileges God has given me to help the less privileged in the Society. I have then decided to make money and gift item donations to few charity institutions. That’s why I have contacted you,I hope you accept my kind offering and use my donation to help the needy.

Having said that, I would like to make a donation of US$20,000 and gift items to your institution in support of your work in helping people. Please get back to me so I would know the information on where to send the payment by check.
Thank you.
XXX.

pray this is not a joke -- gc

this could help us change the world...

It was a scam -- how low can people go --  scamming people with HIV/AIDS.
We have never had any donations except the money I donated -- I have donated over $50,000.00 and 18 years. I am not HIV positive.

I am getting low on money as I started a new business.  Now, we must depend on God to bring us more funding so we can continue to grow. Glen Caulkins

HIV Anonymous -- the concept is a no-brainer -- come on folks -- we are almost there!

I'm sorry to hear it Glen.  It's a good word of warning to anyone reading to be cautious of people; even those who are purporting to help you.

I'm sorry to hear the news; it's got to be a real dissapointment.
