With the new "evidence" that re-infection or "super-infection" is possible (or going on that assumption), has anyone heard whether a person who becomes re-infected could experience the same acute symptoms that they did during their initial sero-conversion?  When I was infected initially, during sero-conversion I experienced high fevers and sore throat.  My physician told me that it was my body reacting to the virus and that some patients don't ever experience any outward symptoms on initial sero-conversion.  But with the virus already in your system, if a new strain is introduced, could the presence of that strain produce the same acute symptoms as on initial infection?  Has anyone read any articles that mention this?  I know the research is limited to a specific couple of case studies, and recognize that information may be limited.
Thanks
