How do you stop crying

My brother is in the hospital with hiv/aids. I told him 7 years ago to go to the doctor. He never did it. Now he is saying he did not want anyone in his business. He also don't want anyone to know. But every day he tells about 7 new people at his job. Then he says to my mother over again I don't want anyone to know. She thinks he is talking out of his head. I can't stop crying and I am the one who told my mother he was sick. I know it's because now it's in ink. How do you deal? I am in Miami he is in NY. I won't go there and he wants me too. But keep telling people he don't want me to know. My mother keeps telling him Sharon told me 7 years ago. It's like he is not all there. He is thinking he had this mess16 years now.
