Hi I am Mick, I live in London UK and have been diagnosed a year and a half.  I am looking for relatively newly diagnosed pals (although not essentially)to discuss concerns etc. but also just to get acquainted with others in the same situation. Feel free to email me!

Thanks
Mick

Hey Mick,

Just found this website seen your e-mail. Just want you to know there is life after HIV, I've been HIV+ for 21 yrs.

I have a full life with 4 beatiful children 28,21 20 and 9, I know it's hard at times, just hang in a moment at a time.
Life itself can be hard never mind adding the virus, yet you can still live fully and be happy.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Guys,

I am was diagnossed 6 1/2 years ago.  Dee it is great to hear that you have managed the desease well.  I was on 22 when I was diagnossed and bumpbed around on my medication which resulted in me having aids this year.  This has been a very rough year for me I've been very sick.  Prior to January for all 5 1/2 years I was syptom free and my body seemed to be maintaining the virus on its own.  I was fighting intestinal parasites that I contracted overseas from the fresh water and I became so run down and then my immune system went haywire.  To the gentlement talk to the people who have lived with the disease for years.  I have a friend now who has has the disease 15+ years.  He has been a tremendous resourse to all the different things avail.  I would love to speak with you guys.

Hey Samir,
I was very glad to hear from you. I noticed a lot of the posting are so old.

Anyway, I hope your feeling better. I gotta say how really important it is to have someone who understands. It such an important piece of the healing process. I know for me there's been times I've been scared, and thank god for my support network I made it through another day. I hope to hear from you soon.

Take care to all.
