I would like to correspond with another woman, or women who are older. I am almost 49. I am HIV positive, diagnosed this year. My partner has been positive for 11 years. I have three children, and one four year old grandson. Two more grandchildren are on their way. Becoming positive brought to light to me just how much I treasure my children and their children! I am dedicating myself to living a very healthy lifestyle that is as stress-free as possible and I'm going to really be there for these little ones and their mothers. I am not an iv drug user but I have not always made choices in my best interest. I really look forward to hearing from someone. Shelley

Hi Shelly,

I anm new to this site and to HIV. I am 42 and my kids are 18 (no grandchildren yet). But, I would love to chat with you, I certainly feel many of the things that you are feeling. I have been positive now for 9 months. Send me a note sometimes if you would like to chat.
