Hi I am a single, black female 31 years old  :-*who was recently diagnosed with HIV.  So far so good and I don't have to be on meds.  The hardest part about the illness is the emotional side.  It seems like every since I got diagnosed everyone around me is HIV neg.  Just looking to meet other people like me so I don't feel like only I exsit despite the statics.  Looking for positive friendship.

Hey.... I haven't seen very many recent postings here, but I hope that people still chat here.... September 17, this year.... has been a year since I was diagnosed as HIV + I am in need of talking to people who know where I'm at right now, and somewhat how I'm feeling.  I was doing fine, and now I just feel lost all over again....

hi there you have nothing to worry about. It has been 7 years now and am still going strong. I am studying for a masters in finanacial management and I work in a bank.  Am taking a mortgage on a house.
what am trying to say is that life is beautiful. Yes once in a while I get depressions but on a whole am great.
Mission right now is to meet an HIV+ man and make a beautiful family.
Keep bright and do not worry.

Hello All,
I look forward to chatting to other + people.  I am 53, live in Washington, DC, and was diagnosed in 2002, today is May 8, 2007.  I am not on meds--CD4 is high and viral load is low.  God is good to me.  Was angry when I found out ex husband ihad nfected me, got over the anger and began living life, and met a guy who I thought accepted my status.  We lived together for 3.5 yrs and recently split on January 13, 2007.  Wow!  I really think he could not deal with my status.  Today, I am lonely, feel I have not much to offer a man, and am sorta despondent.

Let's talk.  Cheers.
